| Giovanni Loy è nato a Roma nel 1971. Nato in una famiglia di artisti, sin da piccolo viene introdotto all'arte e alla musica. Si diploma al Liceo Artistico di Cagliari "Foiso Fois". Negli anni '90 frequenta lo IED "Scuola di Design", specializzandosi come Interior Designer; successivamente intraprende gli studi filosofici presso L'Università di Cagliari. L'arte della fotografia è stata sempre uno dei suoi maggiori interessi, ma solo negli ultimi tempi decide di dedicarsi completamente ad essa. La sua attenzione è rivolta principalmente alla fotografia naturalistica ed urbanistica. La filosofia che contraddistingue il pensiero e la visione dell'arte fotografica di Giovanni è essenzialmente quella che caratterizza la cattura di un soggetto fuori dalle dinamiche del tempo, rendendo la fotografia un mezzo per ingannare il tempo stesso. ENGLISH VERSION Giovanni Loy was born in Rome in 1971. Born into a family of artists, from an early age was introduced to art and music. He graduated from the Art School of Cagliari "Fois Fois".
