| Classe 1982, la passione per la fotografia non tarda ad arrivare.
Intorno ai 5 anni ruba la prima compatta alla madre, prima regola: non fotografare contro luce. Ma il suo animo curioso di bambina (che tutt'oggi mantiene) la porta subito a sperimentare: "che cosa succederebbe se scattassi una foto al sole?" si chiede e tenta.
A prima vista potrebbe sembrare semplicemente un atteggiamento anarchico e sprezzante, ma la realtà è che c'è una ricerca e una curiosità profonda che muovono Sara nel suo cammino. La voglia di sperimentare la porta fino al bisogno di sfiorare i limiti, per conoscerne le regole profonde.
La prima digitale arriva verso i 18 anni, una bridge di Canon, davvero un'ottima macchinetta che la accompagnerà per qualche anno, regalandole diverse soddisfazioni. Lei la lascia dopo aver affrontato numerosi viaggi e "muore" sotto l'ingente carico di lavoro.
Per qualche anno Sara dovrà limitarsi a scattare con una compatta, ma all'avvicinasi del viaggio in Kenia la decisione è ormai presa: è giunto il momento di possedere una reflex! Il safari le regala molte emozioni, ma c'è ancora tanta strada davanti da fare. Sara sa bene che i suoi scatti potrebbero dare di più e vuole ottenerlo. La frustrazione positiva le è di grande sprono.
Comincia lo studio: un primo corso di fotografia getta le basi per lo slancio decisivo. Sara si mette a studiare e a sperimentare sul campo. Contemporaneamente segue un corso di Photoshop e affianca alcuni fotografi nella post-produzione con Lightroom. Si aggiorna costantemente attraverso tutorial e forum.
Nel 2011 comincia a scattare per amici e parenti. Prima in teatro, poi nelle cucine e nei ristoranti (per T-lize con cui tutt'ora collabora), affianca un fotografo matrimonialista (Giampaolo Astolfi) e si lancia con entusiasmo nella fotografia degli eventi notturni (Friendly Beach Party).
Nel 2012 partecipa al suo primo Pesaro Photofestival.
Vince il 3° premo al concorso Musi Ispiratori.
